Pipe Lay Barge - Alpha DMB 88

Class GL + 100 A5 Pipe layer re-built in 1994, re-classed in 2002.

The barge is suitable for pipe laying in shallow and restricted waters, equipped with a ten-point mooring system  comprising of 4 bow anchors, 4 breast anchors and 2 stern anchors. The 4 breast anchor cables are guided through underwater fairleads to enable access of supply and support vessels.

The firing line equipment and automatic floating track tensioner is designed for 6" OD to 48" OD pipe. It consists of a hydraulic  transverse conveyor, hydraulic vertical tension, hydraulic A&R winch and 8 hydraulic support rollers. The floating stinger, 30 metres in length, is equipped with 5 spring supported horizontal roller carriages and additional 2 vertical guide rollers. Stinger depth is controlled by means of a closed ballast system.

Accommodation Barge - Alpha DMB

Class ABS built in 1982 with one unit Crane 50 tons and accommodation for 80 persons fully air-conditioned. GRT/NRT is 630/189 ton.

Tugboat - Alpha Star and Alpha Jupiter

Class ABS built in 1996; bollard pull 15 tons and speed 10 knots with 1340 BHP Twin Screw tug.

Stern "A" Frame with 15 tons lifting capacity for anchor handling.

Tugboat - Alpha Progress

Class ABS built in 1996; bollard pull 13 tons and speed 10 knots with 1248 BHP Twin Screw tug.

Cargo Barge - Alpha DMB 8

Class ABS + A1, dead weight 1,500 tons, deck loading 7.5 tons per square metre. Deck size 180 ft x 50 ft x 12ft.
